Finally done! Usagi-chan's hair is so hard to do! >.< Too many layers, and too hard to keep track of them...
Anyhoo, this is done for because she was being so awesome when I talked to her first and because she loves Sailor Moon. And even though I don't really like it all that much, I do own two volumes of the manga, and it's really good reference material. I was originally planning to draw her in her Princess Serenity dress, but somehow the way I painted this, I used too much blur, so the detail would get lost anyway. And I have no idea what colors the original dress is, so I just used a purple-ish color because it would stand out well.
The glow thingy helped lots in covering up mistakes ^^ But the hair was still really hard to do, because I had to define the strands and actually make it look like hair, so I couldn't just cover it all up with the glow.
Background was made by me, for a change. Lots of filters and toggling with the hues and saturations for the moon. The brush that made the clouds does not belong to me in any form.
Done entirely in Corel Painter Essentials 2, originally done on it also. This sorta counts as a Christmas present... I guess. I prefer to think of it as a Christmas miracle that I finished this ^^ I was totally procrastinating on the hair.
It has such a high dream-like quality to it. I think my heartbeat almost stopped just looking at it! Very beautiful job, Lisa-chan!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
